Book review of Martin pig

Martin pig is a very good and ingaging book. Once you start reading the book, you just can't stop.                    The theme that goes through out the book is a murder theme. Yes a murder takes place.

What I like about Martin pig is that it is a story that is not really heard before, it is different. As well as this, I like how there was a really big twist at the end of the story, and how a charchter in the book was diseaved. If you read this book in school, you will start to enjoy your lessons more. Sometimes you might not know what some words mean, but you can ask someone.

I didn't really like this book at the start, but when I went past a few pages, I started to enjoy it. That's why they say 'don't judge a book by its cover'.
My favourite part in this book was when Martin had forged his dads signature for money, and how he had tried to hide a really dark crime he had made.

Of mice and men review

I am going to tell you my opinion on the book of mice and men. This book starts off with two men, the small one being called George and the bigger called Lennie and they are running away from people because of something Lennie has done which you will have to read about because that will give away a bit of the story.

later on in the story when they managed to run from the mob which are chasing them they settle on a ranch which they will work on for a period of time, they make new friends there and is a lot of drama that occurs there as well.

To conclude this book is an all round smashing book and I am very pleased that I have read this book and has been a joy as well.

Book Review of Wonder

'Wonder' is an amazing and heartfelt story. it is about a boy who has a severely disfigured face. He has never gone to school and he is going for the first time... When you read this story you are taken on a journey of middle school which is already difficult as it is, not to mention that Auggie is far from normal...

I love this book because it is so personal you feel that you are going through his pain and happiness! It is one of the best and saddest books I have ever read! It is an amazing book and I think that the author was amazing to write such a good book. It will leave you on the edge of your seat, wanting to read more, it is so amazing that you won't be able to put the book down. I have read it over 5 times and I never get bored of it!

My favourite part of the story is when Auggie makes his first friend called 'Jack.' I felt so happy and proud of Auggie because you feel as if he is related to you and you are learning more and more about him and when ever he achieves something you are so happy and proud of him. The part that made me so sad is when Auggie is told some sad news...

Of mice and men review

Of mice and men is about two men.not really two men , one man and a man with a mans body but a child's brain. In every workplace they travel together to earn some money Lennie always messes up and George has to save pennies ass and run away. One day George and Lennie arrive at a new workplace and settle in. The bosses son curly loves to fight and have came in to the bunk area and talk to George and then tries to talk to Lennie but George said don't talk to none you will cause trouble for us two so Lennie keeps quite....

I think this book is emotional because Lennie is mental and at that time they never knew what mental is so they kept on abusing him,but George was their for him.

What will Stanley do?

This book is emotional because Stanley went to jail for no reason and he got punished a lot for something he haven't even done!

Goldilocks twist

As Goldilocks walks into the forest, she spots the mansion of her dreams a few metres away. Walking towards the mansion, she notices  that the door's slightly apart, therefore , she enters. The mansion had belonged to the three bears, who she despised. She found three bowls of porridge laying on the table; being  vile as she is, she looked into the cupboards, only to find cleaning supplies. She poured the chemicals into the porridge, hurrying upstairs to hide. A few minutes later, the Bears had come in. They ate the porridge and had felt dizzy later on, before falling into darkness.

Twelfth Night Review

In the play Twelfth Night there are nothing but mysteries in Illyria. The characters that took part in this play were: duke Orsino, viola, Sebastian, malvolio, Maria, Olivia, sir Andrew, sir Toby, Antonio, Fabian, and feste. The play is about mischief that happens twelve days after Christmas hence the name Twelfth   Night. The thirst for love was real in Illyria because the phrase "love at first site" was definitely true. There was a love triangle between viola, Olivia and duke Orsino all in all I would give this book a 4/5.

Beauty On The Leave

All changes when the fragile Belle falls deeply
With who, with what?
It isn't a person, but with a stone-cold heart, the only options are monsters
That, it is
Or that's what it's cast as
She sees through the vicious coat the monster wears
There's a charming man who yearns for love, just like her
Everyday, they spend their time together, accompanying one another
But, what the beast doesn't know is that the girl he loves,
Is waiting
She waits for the time where he changes form
Into innocent and sweet,
So no longer vile, she can up and leave

Skellig Book Review

In this book the main character is a boy called Michael. Michael has just moved into a new house and has a huge surprise when he find a crippled living creature in his new garage. Michael is really scared to tell anybody the living creature except his best friend called Mina. They help the creature get stronger and stronger by feeding him and helping him remember things...

Does he stay or leave? Who knows?

I would rate skellig 9/10.This book is very moving and meaningful because it makes you feel for him and makes you realise what you have. It makes you think deep about your life and how hard it can get sometimes. If life was hard for a living creature it's going to be hard for us. Teenagers would like this book because it makes you think about things and how there not always easy.

Noble conflict (written by Malorie Blackman) expressed many people's views about some of the issues in our modern day society. The issues help to make the reader think and also makes the reader question if what he/she believes is correct. The book makes you wonder wether conspiracy theories may be true, also the issue of terrorism and corrupt governments is shown in the book. The protagonist in the story is Kaspar, who works for the guardians, and he goes through many struggles to find out the truth.

Noble Conflict Book Review

The title of the book noble conflict suggests to the reader that there is war between two sides fighting for their beliefs. An exciting race towards an ending where the villain (Rhea), told Kaspar he is about to be murdered, takes time off to explain what he and the guardians have really been up to. By now Kaspar has been working with Mac, an attractive teenage girl gifted at cyber-searching.

Within the novel, the messages portrayed reflect on past events in real life. Malorie Blackman demonstrates the effects of media, brainwashing and conspiracies. Furthermore, she makes links to events such as: 9/11, Princess Diana's death etc. There are many twists in the novel, with shocking truths uncovering every chapter. Kaspar is pulled in several ways that he is confused in how to differentiate between right and wrong. Eventually, he finds out the whole truth and picks his side. Did he choose the right side? Has he followed the right path?

Noble conflict book review

Have you ever read a book that relates to real life events and situations? The book is a set in a dystopian society with two fighting factions, the guardians and the insurgents. The storyline has a more complex structure than just good guys vs bad guys. It makes you question your own life and events that have happened in the past. It creates many questions in your head and makes you wonder if everything is what it seems. Some are even unanswered by the end of the book. It is a well thought out book with a deeper meaning giving hidden messages throughout the entire book.  Overall it is a brilliant book enjoyable for young adult readers courtesy of Malorie Blackman.

Noble Conflict Review.

Noble Conflict is a book which is written by Malorie Blackman, this book displays topics such as: Media, how they portray events and how they use media to influences our thoughts. It teaches us about how the media brainwashes us, and that they can also be biased depending on the situation. In the book, there are two types of people 'guardians' and 'rebels'. They fight against each other, but the truth is never told, until the main character Kaspar figures the truth... But is it too late?

Noble Conflict Book Review

Noble Conflict is set around Kaspar and his struggle to find the truth about the hatred between the Crusaders and the Guardians. He meets a mysterious Crusader, Rhea, in an accident on the badlands, where most of the Crusaders live. Along the way, a tech-savey purple haired librarian helps him with his research. Will he find out the truth that he's searching for?

Plot:

Noble conflict is set in a dystopian future, where there's a feud between two people of the same country. The plot is incredibly complex and will always keep you guessing. Fortunately, it does not have any plot holes and the ending gives the reader closure and answers all of their questions eventually. There are many plot twists that you probably didn't see coming, and there is a large amount of foreshadowing that we don't notice until something actually happens. The pacing of the story is perfect.

Characters:

All of the characters go through a large amount of development and is incredibly well written. There isn't a moment when the writing of the characters annoyed me or seemed incredibly forced.

Overall, Noble conflict is an ideal book if someone wants to read a book with meaning and fantastic writing
