Peace

War, gangs and terrorism is bad,

You won’t do it, if you do you’re mad.

People will be scared,

You wouldn’t do it if you were dared.

This world is a peaceful place,

Terrorism ruins it so be careful,

You have to be aware of gangs,

They will get their guns out and BANG.

So stop all these bad things,

If you stop this you would be a King.

The Earth would be smiling,

The laws would by climbing.

War and Peace

Peace is fun, war has too many guns.

I watch families run as fast as they can,

Children scream and shout for their mum and dad.

Government raging, ripping pages of war formation.

Soldiers saying, ‘who told you to mess with our aurora?’

Someone said, ‘that’s bang out of order.’

Peace is fun, peace joy peace.

Brings happiness to us.

I never want war.

If you’re in war there is always misery

I sat on that bench and Grandpa kept talking about that trench,

All I ever want is war to be stopped with government law.

By Abdirahman Mohammed

Peace

Why are gangs so violent?

When the government is silent?

Why is the community so tall,

When the world is at war?

Why are there terrorists everywhere?

When people in the world are very scared.

However,

It is important to stay calm.

Quiet, like they’re on animal farm.

Sunsets and music, cakes and parks,

Peace is better for the world,

Peace may even stop the war.

By Antoine Samuels

Peace

Gangs, Terrorists, government and war,

Look at all these disobeyed laws.

Bombs, soldiers, clash of clans,

What could be more deadly than man?

Trenches, benches, grass or mud,

In the distance, loud thud…

Valleys, meadows, villages and seas,

Developing crops and buzzing bees.

Ponds, canals, reservoirs and trees,

What more can we want it to be?

Let there be joy, let there be peace,

Please, why can’t all war cease?

Nature is Extraordinary

Nature is imaginative,
Nature inspires you,
Nature has loads of Secrets,
Nature is untouched by humans

Nature fills up the world with bright colours,
Nature frees your mind,
Nature adds colour to the world,
No illusion or artificial

Without nature the world wouldn't be satisfied.

The Nature Spectacular

The sky is blue, and the sea too
Roses are red, can't you see
That what you see isn't up to me,
But for you to find out too...

There's more to the eye than what you might find,
Even if you're blind, it will always be kind.

Summer, Autumn, Winter, Spring,
It won't ever seem boring even for a young King,
But please don't cry, just a tear shed and a sigh, no lie.

Enjoy the nature spectacular, but not on a flight,
Though Pi might, you can always fly your kite, even at night.
Though this may make us really tender and kind,
At least we will have an open mind.

A fly may look like a spy,
And maybe watch you tie your tie,
No need to get in a hassle, just let it fly back to
It's castle. It probably thinks it's in a prison but
Listen, fill your life with joy and enjoy
Nature spectacular.

Nature is polite, and it may be
A beautiful sight, if you treat it
Right. Everyone will see the bright
Side of this nature spectacular.

World of Art

Nature makes us feel free,
And that is key,
We can feel as free as a bird
And that's what I've heard.
It frees the mind,
Which is very kind.

I don't feel pride
When I'm inside.
The animals are nice,
Even better than rice.
The world is extraordinary,
Which isn't ordinary.

The ocean is cool,
Even better than a pool.
The colour blue,
Is not a colour that's new.

Nature is cool,
Don't be a fool,
It's a piece of art,
That's touched my heart.
It makes me feel free,
And that's key.

I need it to take me in.

Beauty around me

The wind is howling in my ears
Taking away all my fears

The green grass is tickling my feet
Carefully cut to be neat

Flowers blooming out of the ground
Slow and beautiful without a sound

Roses so red
From their flower bed

Extra ordinary creatures all around me
Beautiful creatures all around me

Unique insects crawling around
Feeling free without a doubt

All the physical features
Nothing like being locked with teachers

Birds singing sweet songs of joy
Reminding me of my favourite childhood toy

Animals

Roses are red violets are blue
I love nature, do you too?
I see animals with extraordinary shapes

I love going out sit down
With peace and quiet, smelling
The air of the trees

Looking at different types
Of animals dashing with colours
Taking the stress away

When I look outside I see fascinating features
That really look like creatures

The World Awaits

How can I stay indoors,
Trapped inside,
When nature frees your mind?

I love nature,
Where nature awaits,
Wonders of the world,
Still being discovered.

Life outside is full of bloom,
Let your mind free,
Where exdordinary animals lay,
Untouched by humans.

Nature is full of colour,
Yellow and blue,
More than you could think,
Where creativity stays.

Where night and day,
Summer and spring,
Spring to autumn and winter,
Who doesn't enjoy nature,
Where wildlife and nature waits...

Marya Bi 70

Rainbows and seasons

The rainbows have colours so pretty in the sky,
They're also on the faces of people going by.

Rainbows are formed when it's hot and cold too,
They're the perfect weather for me and for you.

Spring is the perfect for plants and flowers,
I think looking at them will give you more power.

Winter is the season that is very cold,
To survive out there, you must be bold.

Autumn is the season where leaves turn red or brown,
They're falling from trees, down to the ground.

Summer is the season for joy and happiness,
The season is full of excitement and bless.

Nature Advantages

Nature is good,
Nature is clean.
Nature is awesome,
Nature is green.
Mother Nature takes all her time,
To make sure nature is going fine.
All the little insects have something to eat,
Bringing to their family,
On the ground or in the trees.

By Dennym Martin Year 7

Nature

It is both vivid and bright
A unique world of creatures
There are plants and animals
Big or miniature

It fills up the world
With a painting of light
It smiles up your day
With an extraordinary sight

The species of the planet
Create a collage of colours
They are phenomenal as everything
Put together

There is only one name
For this beautiful adventure
There is nothing more amazing
This is called nature.

Nature

Bright colours outside.
Dull colours inside.
When I'm inside.
I feel like I am trapped between walls.
When I look outside I see bright colours.
We should be outside not in here.
Everyday I slouch down,
Staring out the window.
It's not fun being inside,
We should be outside playing about.
We hear the birds sing,
While they be flapping there wings.
It's nasty inside, it's starting to give me a fright.
It's my dream to be surrounded by nature,
If I go out they'll think I'm in danger.
Everything is real but inside it's all artificial.
There's no life in here I feel like the only living creature.

Umair Razwan 7O

Seasonal Nature

Outside the window
Blossoms bloom
Within the blades of lush grass
The deciduous trees
Russet with buds
The remnants of winter
Remain with the icy breath
Still within the wind
Passing over the trees

The Sun burning
The heat falling on the trees with light
Brings joy
While the trees cast feathery shadows
And the fragrance of summer
Wafts through
The air while peals of laughter
Can be heard everywhere

The colours of Autumn
Are everywhere with the trees
Nearly bare the signal of winter is nearly here
With the glacial cold seeping to the bone
While the leaves fall
Winter has nearly come.....

As the blizzard battered
The trees they become thin and withering
As the strong snowy winds
Hit the withering nature
The frost began to thicken
Blanketing the world
With enamel white
Hiding the Secrets of Nature

As the clouds part
Intervals of sunshine begin to appear
Giving the world
A iridescent shine
At last spring has arrived...

Nature

Being outside is nature.
Staying inside is my number one hate
You will never become late
And you never have to wait

I see animals hugging each other
They need comfort from their mother
They have freedom from work
They had all day to smirk

Summer helps the sun go in our face
It's not as hard as a maze
We should be outside class
I would like to pass

Being inside makes you have no fun
It doesn't give you inspiration
The snow flys on the floor
I am left asking for more

I am in spring
Birds are flying there wings
We should not be sat inside
Instead of staying in and getting lied to

Asim Mahmood 70

Fly

Listen up
I have a lesson
Or would you rather
Stay in depression?

Watch a bird sore
Let your mind free, isn't this
Where you'd rather be?

Your wings get clipped
Imagination slips
Your mind drawn down
Into a dismal dark abyss

School is prison
You should not stay:
Tell your parents
Right away!

Vast whales
As big as your mind
Don't forget your birds
Ment to fly

There lots of wonders
Blooming at full peak
While your in class
Melancholy

Animals with strength
Unthinkable beauty
Don't imagine it
And don't watch it on tv

Tigers with fierce eyes
That burn you right through
Owls with eyes bigger than
The moon

Vast whales as big
As your mind
Don't forget your birds
Ment to fly.

The Beach

The ocean is blue as the sky
Summer is almost here as it is May
But the sun is looking at me with it's cruel eye
I'm stuck at home in dismay

My house is close to the beach, just a mile away
But my parents rules I must obey
Looking at the extraordinary birds fly and doing nothing
Just sitting at home and it's so boring

Nature

Nature adds colour to the world
Nature makes you feel free
Nature is beautiful and colourful
Nature makes you calm and stress free

You can only draw it if you've seen it
Nature is too amazing and extraordinary to just imagine
Nature is a natural phenomenon
It is Untouched my humans, all natural

Animals are nature too
They're more animals being discovered
They've evolved from dinosaurs
There is a massive variety of animals
They're very amazing

The wild life is a maze
It is breath taking
It encapsulates you
It is amazing and unimaginable

Without nature the world is boring
Without nature everything will be dull and uncoloured
Without nature the world would be unpleasant
Without nature the world would be loud and unorganised

Munthaha 7O

Enjoy nature

Lovely day outside
This is a day not to hide
I'd love to play outside
But I'm trapped on a school day: inside!

So nasty inside it gives me a fright
I probably won't survive because teachers being tight

So calm and Beautiful outside
I'd want to kiss the scenic grass like drinking a mango lass
But I'm standing in front of a bunch of witches that look like they are going to give me stitches

Life

"How can a bird that's born of joy,
Sit in a cage and sing."
What about all the beautiful things out there,
Like wildlife,animals and insects...

You can go to the park,
To free your mind,
To realise your stress and be free,
Oh how wonderful is life,

Looking at nature with your own eyes,
Is peaceful and calming,
Showing the true colours of the world,
Oh how wonderful is life,

Looking at the world with a evil eye,
Will make you mad,
Go outside and explore the nature,
Oh how wonderful is life...

Species

They're everywhere
They're tall
They're short
They're natural

Each and everyone of them are unique
Each and every one of them aren't equal
They all have their own scent
And they all have their own appearance

They're miracles
One after the other, they come along
They're a grace of joy
Carefree
And untouched

They stroll along in wildlife
Where tranquility is placed
And colours are spread
As if they're free
As if they haven't got a care in the world

They are spread, living in mazes
Green grass
Rough netals
Nature spreading across the world
Causing more and to be let out
They gaze as if you're different
When really, it's them who are the odd ones out
Species they're called
And that's how they live

Lovely life

Life is very lovely,
Where you roam freely,
Where animals are being discovered,
But sometimes not with their mothers.

Life is filled with fascinating facts,
Even more fascinating than what you learn at school.
How could a bird sit like a statue,
Not coming out of its cage?

Why are birds trapped,
Not appearing to the light,
Which could brighten your life?

Whether its raining or snowing,
Or the sun is glowing,
Your mind will still be filled with imagination,
Instead a whole lot of frustration.

By Aisha Ali 7N

Almost supernatural

Natural, phenomenal colours,
Still to be discovered animals.

Looking deeper into beautiful creatures;
Inspiring and creating outstanding images in our imagination.

Freeing the mind with natural goods;
It brightens the mood.

No artificial colouring, natural beauty.

As fascinating as a supernatural being.

Be Free

Nature is a phenomenal thing
It opens a world of imagination
It inspires many to do great things

Why be trapped in a classroom
When you could be out there aiming for the sky
Let yourself be free

Enjoy this extra ordinary world
Don't take it granted
It's a wonderful place

Nature is a wonderful person
Who let's you be free
One who does not trap you inside

Stay Where You Are And Then Leave Prediction

think this book is going to be about a boy who sees a battle plane everyday and wants to fly on the plane.
He grows up to see the plane and his Dad is fighting in the war.
His Mum is a nurse and she is working for long hours and the boy (the main character I think) is all alone just like his friends are and has really nothing to do.
The boy writes letters to his father and his father is not replying so his Dad may be dead and that's why he sees a plane and that reminds him of his father.

By Abdulqadir Year 8

Stay where you are and leave

The book is about a boy that lives life how it should be and then one morning, when he sees his dad go somewhere with a backpack he starts to fall into tears and then is
Let's go of the dad and then goes and plays with his friends in the afternoon.
It's only until his life begins to turn around and he hears an air raid siren and starts to bring out tears.
His mother then goes to him and they run out of their house and in to there garden shelter the mother and his father made.
The next day he finds himself in a train station ready to be evacuated.
From then on he stays on a field for six years until his mother picks him up and his dad comes back with a fractured leg and in a wheeled chair.

Stay where you are then leave

What I think this book will be about is ? About a boy who was with his family on a trip to the jungle. However, when he is with them he gets lost. And he tries so hard to get out and try to get back to his family, and which he makes a bunch friends when he searches for them.

Stay where you are and then leave

Based on the title and cover I think this little boy is obsessed with planes and soldiers, in which his Dad was. Before Timothy's. Seventh birthday his dad Dave went out to war. Timothy was upset and thought it was his fault that he left. The next day Timothy ran away! Trying to find his father. since he was very intellegant when it came to planes on soldiers he opt out to go and track some down. When he found one he hid under the blankets in the plane and kept silenced until they landed. But poor old Thimphu was scared of heights meaning although he wanted to find his dad he had to face his overcome mis major fear! He heard the soldiers getting on the plane, thousands of thoughts came to his mind. 10 minutes into flying thimothy started crying, a man named Craig found him and questioned him,"what are you doing here" "it's not safe for you" the Sargent demanded on the microphone "we have now landed ladies, stand up stand proud" he said. Craig didn't telly e Sargent he was on board but told Timothy "Stay where you are and then leave"

By Toni-Leigh Hazell

Stay where you are and then leave

I think that the story is about a little boy that was home less and I also think that he is lost in the mountain and a plane come but then it went because it doesn't see the little boy and the little boy is just there waiting for another plane to come and help him to escape and go home and I think the there is a war going to on because it look like a war plane that our country had and it looks like it was set in the olden days.

Imad Ahmed.

Stay where you are and then leave

I think this book is about lost love because stay where you are - I think it means that a person does want to lose someone but is being forced to leave. I also think this is a very sad book which ends very sadly and is emotional.

Samirah Khanom

Stay where you are & then leave!!!!!

I think it is about WW1. Also their is a little boy and a plane so it could also be about a little kid who probably has a father who is in the war. Also he probably does not know where his father is and he is an evacuee? The little boy probably does not know where his father is or if he is alright!                                                                                                                           By Raheen Islam

Prediction

Based on the front cover i think that the book is going to be about world war 2 because it shows a plane on the front cover. In world war 1 there was no planes  or tanks, there was only trenches. In world war 2 there was lots of military vehicles like tanks and air planes

By Abdul shahieb

Stay where u are and then leave

I think this book with be about the 1st world war because the airplane look like a German airplane

It could be about a boy that gets lost but then get kidnaped by a German fighter. So the kid could be disowned or the parents could do something

Ace s bradey

Stay Where You are and Then Leave

From my point of view I believe this book is going to be about WW1 because WW2 didn't have those planes at that time but WW1 did.

Abdullah Musa

About stay where you are and leave

This book looks like a war book.it looks like a boy who has a father who when's in the war.and never came back.this boy looks like he is only one and he wants his father back.or somebody doesn't tell him that his father does not come back from the war.he wants the war to stop for good.

By umayr shaikh

Stay where you are and then leave

I think this book was set in world war 1 and it is about men that have gone to war and they have to live there for a while to fight for they're country and they want there enemies to stay we're  they belong. In there home in France are we're ever they are from. They want them to retret and go back to there homes land. They also don't want you to come back. They want to live in peace so they want you to go and let them there lives like nothing had happened and if anyone had died they will lie in Flanders field were the popes grow today. And this is about children that had to be evacuated to the country.

By lamisha Ahmed year 8

Stay where you are and then leave

I think that this book is about the war,and a child does not want his father to go until he tells him to but when the child goes to bed he sneaks out and then the child hears the door shutting then the child wakes up and he wakes up the rest of his family. He notices a sound of a airplane and he saw his father leaving to war, this is because the father does not want his child to be like him because the father wen to war.

By Mohamed Noor YeR 8

Stay Where You Are And Then Leave

Based on the title and the front cover I think the book is about a child who's father has gone to war and is fighting in the planes (ww2). And when his dad come to visit his family he is always going back and fourth and never stays, and always missing out on important events in his child's life but then he realises that his dad was doing something good for his country. I think this because it shows a child looking up to the. Sky as if it was a role model and there's a ww2 plane in the sky and it is as if the child is looking up to his father in the sky while he is fighting.

Stay wherever you are then leave

I think this poem is about the war because on the front cover it shows an airplane with a boy underneath and the colour of the book is very dark and looks like it was from a long time ago. I also think the book will hove something to do with Jessie pope's poem and will say that the war if fun.

By Aisha Year 8

Stay where you are and then leave prediction

I think the book is going To be about a young boy who got lost in the woods, i know this because it says on the book title "stay where you are" when you are young your parents tell you when your lost you should stay where ever you are .there is a plane , that looks like military planes , in the cover of the book and it has a flag printed on the wings , which probably means there is a war ."then leave" Implies that he found.

By Bashir Year 8

Stay where you are and then leave!

Firstly I think this book is about the army you have to stay there if you try escaping you will die. Also It's saying you have to stay there until your fight is over then you can leave when you have done your job So if you want to know what this book is about I say that this book is about army when you go there yo have to stay and when your job is done you can leave and have a peaceful life.

Disabled vs Wherever You Are

'Disabled' is a World War 1 poem. It is giving us a negative perspective of war; the graphics were horrible. It was going against "who's for the game" which is a properganda poem.
It used dull and dark colours.
It was telling us all the bad things about war. Nobody will return but this was the truth and you can not change that .
Another poem is called "Wherever you are." It gives us hope in our country and it's positive. It was written by women who's husband has gone to war. They knew they where going to return.

By Sarmad Year 8

Disabled

In the poem 'Disabled' it is a poem written about World War 1, even though it is old it is known to this day for its impressive vocabulary. When this poem was written at the time, another poem at that time was written and it was called 'Who's for the Game.' Wilfred Owen wrote his poem called 'Disabled' to argue against the propaganda poem and show people the truth about the war.

By Naim

Disabled vs The Blitz

'Disabled' and 'The Blitz' are very similar but 'Disabled is about World War 1 and 'The Blitz' is about World War 2. They didn't  have Blitz in World War 1 and we use the poems written at those times to get a good idea about the time period. 'Disabled' is a World War 1 poem about a man who goes to fight in the war but comes back with no arms or legs. At the end of the poem we find out that the man was under age. The World War 2 poem is about a street in Scotland and is gets bombed. It talks about the pets lying in the street bleeding to death and all of the homes flattened by the bombing.

By Ace year 8

Disabled vs Who's For The Game

One of these World War One poems called 'Who's for the Game' and was written to persuade people to go to war by lying and saying that you will go to war and come back perfectly fine with out being damaged at all. Whereas another World War One poem called 'Disabled' which was all about the truth and how hard it was to be living in the real trenches. It is a very graphic poem and paints a picture in your mind about how badly they lived and were treated.

By Arbaaz Year 8

Disabled vs Who's For The Game

The poem 'Disabled' is about soldiers who took part in the war. It was also about when the war ended the soldiers either come back with no arms or no legs. Young teenagers wanted to take part in the war so badly but they were too young, the average age to join the war was 19 years old. They thought that they were going to a holiday but when they got there it was like hell to them.

The poem 'Who's for the Game' was just persuading you to take part in the war and to fight for your country; the mood of the poem was very exciting as if these young men were going on a holiday from one country to another. But Jessie Pope mentions that you will come back just before Christmas and the minor injuries were just broken arm or broken leg.

Who's For The Game and Disabled

The two poems called 'Who's for the Game' and 'Disabled' were published in the First World War. Jessie Pope  mentions that going to the war is easy, but she didn't tell people what it was really like. Then when Wilfred Owen finds out about her poem then he writes his own with his own opinions. he describes what it was really like and that you would not "only come back with a crutch." He tells us how he felt in the war. His poem explains everything properly.

Broken glass moral

The moral of the story is that you have to be honest, honesty is the best policy. Even if you are homeless or poor honesty will always get you a reward if not here than in heaven. If you just take it you will probably end up in jail. Don't be selfish. And never give up.

Broken glass review-tine and eshah

Broken glass was a touching novel that showed the ups and downs homeless people in India face. It makes you appreciate your life. I feel sad it's finished and it has become one of our favourite books. I would give it a 10/10

Brocken glass reveiw

We have finished the book Broken Glass and the moral of this story was to never give up no matter how hard life is. And to follow and do what's right and you'll be rewarded. We know this because when Sureh and Sandeep were homeless and found a wallet. They did the right thing by returning the wallet. They did what they thought was best by leaving their parents to try and live a better life.

Broken Glass Review

The moral of the story is to be grateful for what you have because other people in the world don't have most things you have. You can also learn from the story to never give up on what you want to achieve because someday your dream could become true.

Broken Glass

The moral of Broken Glass is that you should never give up. Know matter how hard you try, you will always accomplish your goal. Also, to let us know that whatever we have right now, we are grateful for it because conditions in other countries are poor and hard to survive in.

Personal Battle

Dear Mother, this may be the last

Letter I write to you. I hope that

You can see this through. The air

Is miserable. I am starting to see

That my own country is a criminal.

Here we lay frozen to death

It’s like being under water and holding

My breath. I wish I could be with you

Sitting in front of the fire, but I

Come back to reality and realise that was just mind.

If you got this letter is because

I’m dying, I don’t want you

To hear me crying. My dearest mother

I love you, I’m telling my war

Life only to you.
