I think the book is going To be about a young boy who got lost in the woods, i know this because it says on the book title "stay where you are" when you are young your parents tell you when your lost you should stay where ever you are .there is a plane , that looks like military planes , in the cover of the book and it has a flag printed on the wings , which probably means there is a war ."then leave" Implies that he found.
