The phone goes dead

What I found interesting about  this short story was that the ending leaves you guessing. It makes you wonder about what happened to David .What did he say to his father? Where he was phoning from and why? Was there a reason he died and if so could it be the same reason Linda James died?

I think the author could improve on the beginning I think it was clever linking it to the last story but I think he could of made the beginning of the story more mysterious . 

I give this story a rating on a scale of one to ten a eight because I liked the situation and the mysteries of how the dead got the number and was David dead!
