The Only Way

                                             -Chapter1-

“Aaaaahhhhh” Screamed Jamie, after he woke up from the same nightmare he’d been having for at least a month. It had been frustrating wanting to meet someone who didn’t exist, basically he was having this strange nightmare about a girl! You can never see her face and he wants to meet her but he never reaches her, he always dies before he can get to her.

“AMMA?” screamed Jamie, “Good Morning Jamie, How was your sleep? Did you have that dream again?” Amma asked politely. “Yep, where’s dad?” Amma looked at Jamie in a stern manner, “Oh Right, Again!” Jamie said rolling his eyes. Jamie sat up and smiled at Amma, “you going to pick up nick and go to school or are you going to just keep smiling at me”,”Aha thanks for the nice breakfast see you later”.

                                           -Chapter2-

“What took you so long?” said Jamie getting in his car, “My Mum you know how she’s been since your mum died” Nick squealed quietly. “Yeah I know, buckle up were going to be late!” Jamie said starting the car. Jamie and nick drove to school and met Zoey and Molly outside their classroom, “Hey sugar plumb, I’m sorry we fought yesterday maybe we can catch a movie later” Zoey said with a cheeky smile, “Sure, I’d love to” answered Jamie with a fake grin on his face. Suddenly a black haired girl walked into the room, Jamie stopped and thought to himself, had he seen that girl before. Finally he had come to a conclusion, that she was the girl from his nightmare. As everyone taunted her because she was Blake-Lee’s Niece, Jamie just thought to himself... I got to meet this girl.

                                            -Chapter3-   

On Jamie’s way home he spotted a girl in the road, “Ahhhhhh” he screamed as he crashed. “What do you think you’re doing?” Joey raged at Jamie, “Well I was driving but then I almost crashed into you because you were standing in the middle of the road”. “I need help, my cars conked out on me but I guess you want to leave me here” said Joey, “No come on I’m sorry I’m sorry”. Joey stares at Jamie then rolls her eyes, “Fine”.

Symphony Hall

Today I went to the Symphony Hall with the whole of year 7, where there were lots of different schools attending and two particular schools that had performed songs to everybody. The highlight was the orchestra performing and playing different instruments such as the harp, violin, violas, drums and much more.

There was a conductor who had to wave a stick so he could lead the orchestra who were very talented. The symphony hall is a big place, there are lots of seats and a stage for the people playing the music. There was a man who was telling us different stories about the past and introducing different pieces of music, everything they did was very posh and elegant.

Overall the whole day was perfect! We had such a good time listening to all the music and the stories about the past. All in all it was a wonderful day and I would like to thank Mrs Derrick for organising it for everyone.

My blog about the Symphony Hall

I appreciate all the effort you put in by taking us to the Symphony Hall. It was very nice of you, and you didn't have to waste your time. It taught me so much about why music is important and I realised would like to take music as one of my GCSE options. I was quite shocked when I first went inside the Symphony Hall it wasn't anything like I imagined, it was way better! It was phenomenal! I hope I can go on more music trips!

We went to the Symphony Hall and sat down. Then the orchestra were in the middle of the room. They started their first piece and it was brilliant and amazing. Afterwards, a man started talking about the blacksmith and then introduced us to a little group of children. That group hand sung as the orchestra was playing. This was the best piece of them all! Then the man started talking again and showed us what blacksmiths wear. The orchestra played brilliantly!

Symphony Hall

Today I went to a trip to the Symphony Hall. It was good, they played lots of different types of music. There was a conductor with a metal stick, he was moving his hand so that the people can play the music at the right time.

Music trip

Thank you for organising this music trip to the Symphony Hall. It was amazing. At first I didn't think it would be for me but luckily it was great!

I experienced how big an orchestra was. The music was fantastic. The thing that I did not know is that you can have more than one conductor. It was a fabulous trip and I enjoyed it a lot. I'm looking forward to the next one!

Symphony Hall

Today I went to the Symphony Hall to listen to an orchestra. They were in groups e.g. Violins and trumpets etc. A school sang with the groups too. The groups were led by a conductor.  He led them by telling them when to play and when not to.
