Watoto Choir

The choir was really important because it was talking about children in Africa that have no mum or dad and that don't go school, have no food or have no house.

There was a girl that told us a story that she was really poor and she had no family or house or never got to go school until she was rescued. It was a really sad story, she was really poor and now look she is really famous isn't that great!

We went to a ceremony that was 2 minutes away from our school. We were really lucky to see this choir, that is a day to remember.

I was really impressed by their dancing and singing it was brilliant! In England you would not get that type of dancing!

These children were from Africa.

It was really good! I thought It was really fun, the story they told us was like a message because the people that are living a good life could be poor just in a second.

Watoto Choir Review

The choir is important because it is about children from Uganda who have lost one or both of their parents and have been rescued by the Watoto foundation and given clothes and food and a education. Over 3,000 children have been rescued but they know there is still more children out there, that's why they  need you to sponsor them. 

I was very impressed knowing they can still keep a smile on their face and dance even after saying their sad past.

I would recommend going to see them, it's lots of fun and its for a very good cause and you could  put a smile on someone's face who has nothing and give them a bright future by sponsoring them.

Watoto Choir Review

We went into a building 2 minutes away from Aston Manor Academy, this was where the Watoto children performed to the schools that were invited. They were in very colourful and traditional clothes. I was very impressed with them because they are always smiling and doing their best to impress a big audience, they were singing and doing some dance routines.

This is a good thing because they are putting their terrifying and bad life behind them and enjoying their new life that they deserve. They are very special and unique children that have had such a bad life in the past but still managing to come out on a big stage to sing and dance in front of a really big audience. These children come from Uganda, a place in Africa.

Watoto Choir

The Watoto is a group of African children who have lost 1 or 2 parents in the war in Uganda. However the Watoto foundation took them in from the streets and gave them the chance to sing, dance, eat, sleep in a home and let them go to school. I think the Watoto is very good because they give children another chance to have another life and forget their old life.

Everything they perform they must feel amazing after because they always make the whole room feel electric!

Watoto choir review

The watoto is a group of African people who take in little children that are living on the streets. Every child that have been taken in by the watoto have been educated and have learnt how to dance and sing.they have been around the world performing songs and dancing and they have become world famous. They have got a lot of songs to sing to every one around the world.

When ever they sing and finish every one is on there feet to clap for there brilliant work. The children are not embarrassed to sing In front of a crowd which is very hard. They wear way different clothes from us they are not like us we have a lot of clothes to wear unlike them, they probably have about two pairs of trousers and one pair of shoes. They have a lot of people on the watoto team to look after the children.

Watoto Choir Review

When we first got into the church it was very colourful, there was lights and instruments everywhere, like drums and tambourines and a lot more. At first a little girl from the Watoto choir came on to the stage and told us about how she lived with no parents and how it felt to be a street kid and drink dirty water from the sea and where the rubbish is.

When the Watoto choir started to preform it amazed me, when I saw the little children and the adults putting all their effort into the performance. Not only could they dance but they could also sing, it was really good because of all the things the children went through they still kept strong and put a smile on their faces.

I was very impressed with their dancing and singing, they all lost one or two parents and the children and adults were all from Uganda. I think it is a good thing because when they do their concert they will raise money and with the money they give the people and children in Uganda who lived like them. I would recommended to pay to watch them do their concert because with the money you could help people with hard lives

The Watoto Choir

The Watoto choir was amazing because they were performing great songs and dance moves and the thing that really stood out was that they were from a poor background without a family. They were homeless until the Watoto foundation found them and took them in to a special home to take them in.  

They were wearing bright clothes and they had a lot of energy for little young children and a little boy even did a backflip! If there was another concert like this around my area I would definitely go.
